Who's the genius at Microsoft who said, "LETS RUSH TEH XBOX360 OUT ONTO THE MARKET AND HOPE NOBODY GETS THE RED RING OF DEATH!!!!"?

I got the Red Ring of Death tonight.
I'm mad.
I could go on a rampage of blind fury right now.
All because of the idiots at Microsoft.

Thanks, Microsoft, for giving me a brand new 360 and then killing it less than a month later.

But seriously, is there any way to fix this? Other than sending it in, or the towel method...

You can buy a guide for .99 cents (USD) on how to fix it on ebay, but it voids ya warranty. (Only suggested if its outa warranty). Otherwise send it in!

Actually, my friend suggested that I return this to the store, and buy a PS3. I think I'll do that. Thanks for the tip, tho.

Try cleaning off the thermal glue and reapplying it, you can find a tutorial on it on google I'm sure...good luck with it! Also a friend of mine sent his in and paid like 99 bucks to get it fixed without a warranty
