Wow, this place has changed a lot! When did BYOND start taking advertisements? I don't like that it took me forever to get to the forum!
Anyway, I guess I just had a couple of quick questions like:
Somebody fill me in on where BYOND is currently at (I keep waiting for them to go corporate! ***Crosses fingers to not have them go that way!*** )
Whats the latest and greatest game? Last GREAT game made was HRH. and that was a A LONG TIME AGO. I see MLAAS is still going strong. What happened to Skysaw? Last time I heard Nadrew was doing an entire re-code of the game. *insert Nadrew's done this, hosted that, met with so and so, had a relationship with [x], works for [x] making [x] amount of money, etc... He's such a compulsive liar ;) **
Whats up with the BYOND gaming fund?

As for me, I am actually transferring from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX and going to UNT in Denton, Tx. And the reason for that, is becuase I'm starting my own business! I am doing custom airbrush tanning. They're just using advertisements so they can cover the costs of running BYOND and its site, y'know. It's free software (and more than that) after all. They're not, um, going corporate. :P | |

Yeah yeah. I do miss the old days of MLAAS. I've tried to go back, but it's really not the same now that I know everything about it and nobody playing it(And I lost my level 20 purple).

Some of the games discussed in BYOND Strategy look interesting though. Beyond that, its mostly more and more anime rips piling up and scaring away the serious developers. What happened to Skysaw? I made a game called Solar Conquest, which is in dire need of a remake, but still has a steady stream of players while its hosted. I just thought you might be fascinated to know what I actually made a game. I also designed the CSS for BYOND Casual, BYOND RPG, Single Player Games and Audiophiles. I was going to make one for Iccusion Entertainment, but they beat me to it. I post stuff at SPG periodically, when anything interesting happens and I have time. You can go there and read about a bunch of stuff if you want. I'm also in charge of BYOND Casual now, although there's very little happening in that department because interest in casual games on BYOND is at an all time low. If you want, you can also play an older demo of The Gauntlet, a game I periodically work on. Or you can look at the latest demo, which currently has no real content. | |

glad to hear you're doing well for yourself, buddy boy. I have been playing a whole thwackload of music all over the place as well as trying to mend relationships in my life. I'm looking for a new job, now, with the intention of saving as much bones as possible to go to school in either Victoria or Calgary for Speech Pathology or related linguistic studies. As for games? I really don't know what's the big thing now. Chatters is back, and it isn't bad.
As for Nadrew: He is currently in the process of dying from whatever is bothering him this week.
