What do you think is the best Zombie Movie out there? Or a coming soon one. I personaly think the remake of Dawn of the Dead was pretty good, Funny at times. *Sitting in elevator guns, blood, all serious moment* guy says: "I like this song." *they all just look at him* Lol moment for me.
I am entirely ignorant of the zombie/horror genre, but I've taken a shine to 28 Days Later.

It's not a great trailer but the film itself is beautiful, chilling, heartwarming, sad, scary- I think my favourite part of it is the gorgeous, gorgeous characters.
As a completely serious zombie movie I would say 28 Weeks Later, but my overall favorite would have to be Planet Terror; it has surprising elements from different genres that actually work well together.

Gotta say Planet Terror. Grindhouse was ftw.

Uhhh I guess, 28 Days Later was "scarier" while Weeks was more uh "actiony". Guess I preferred the action.

I didn't dislike 28 Weeks, but I much prefer the way Days is both gritty and etherial at the same time.

This is the peice they used during the travelling scenes (and other bits, I suppose, but the image of the taxi against the wind turbines is most striking).

I also wasn't into the characters so much in the second- in Days, both the lead characters are gorgeous and lovely, whereas I'd feel slightly paedophillic wanting to have sex with the main characters in Weeks (actually the girl would be alright, but the kid...)).

And y'know, that's what's important when it comes to films.

So you being able to have fantasies about legal situations is the important thing about films?

I can't even begin to tell you about the fantasies I've had concerning legal situations.

Elation, will you marry me?
Not just a zombie movie, but a rom com zom movie.
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about the movie Rec(as in Record) which is in spanish. It was pretty good in my opinion, and the Americanized version of it comes out this Halloween as Quarantine. I'll definitely be going to see it to see how true it is to the original, though the trailer shows that there are a few changes.

Agreed, though I like the original Dawn of the Dead better, it's much more comedic in my opinion.
