yea it would be kinda weird being multiplayer suported but what would be good is to like make it to where they have to work togetther to do certain things like little maze type deals

I suppose, the best kind of Mario type game would be a rip off of a game I used to play, called Mario Wars. The basic concept was, players battled each other in Mario themed stages, collecting power ups and so on. Each stage was like, only a screen big, but some of them were scrolling stages where you had to keep up with the screen or face falling down a pit and dying.

You could maybe add in exp points for winning matches and stuff, and unlock new suits or something, or other characters besides Mario, like Toad, Peach, Bowser, ect. In the original Mario wars, I think they just used different color hues Mario.

Mario games don't have any realistic sort of physics anyways.

You really have a wrong deduction. Most of the time, using simple logic gives you the correct deduction. Anyway: if many BYOND Megaman games are horrible and have crappy gravity, the deduction from that isn't quite [necessarily] that BYOND is horrible (or is anything else) and can't handle gravity properly. The correct and most accurate deduction is that those Megaman games are horrible. If one game does it wrong it doesn't mean it's not that game's fault, another game that does it better could possibly be written by a programmer(s) with more skill.

Also, Mario "physics" are not 'very advanced stuff' at all. It is just a run-of-the-mill side-scroller jump-and-fall gravity, I don't even feel it deserves the word 'physics'. Regardless of whether BYOND can do that well or not (and it probably can, though if doing it pixel-based it could get problematic but will be fine in single-player), it is not advanced at all.

Lastly, no offense but your post is really obnoxious. Using all those shorthands (internet slang), no grammar and bad spelling is one thing, but you also took the liberty of having no punctuation at all. It was a mess to read through. :\

No, sorry, I did not imply that in any way, it is not even relevant. You used them as an example, but I said such an example does not necessarily reflect the extent of BYOND's capabilities. If you say I accused you of something (other than writing obnoxiously) I assume you didn't understand something I've said correctly.

Sure, never said you did, and neither did I. I was simply talking hypothetically that such a situation would not warrant a deduction that BYOND is bad at gravity (for instance), it would only definitely warrant the game itself is bad at gravity.

I didn't mean to be mean at all (excuse the pun), so I don't know why you'd say that. What I simply said, in one sentence, that if one game on platform X (eg BYOND) does not accomplish feature Y (such as gravity) properly, it does not necessitate that it is the platform's fault and that it is impossible or problematic to accomplish that feature at all.

I was not commenting about your actual points/meaning, but strictly on the presentation of your post, as I said it was obnoxious because of the rather bad English (excuse me, no offense intended), not because of the things you've said.

Well, firstly, I am not sure where you are getting that from, as I never even mentioned or brought up myself or my programming skills in my previous post, and so neither did I imply I was specifically better than anyone. Secondly, it isn't quite the definition of obnoxious to do so (but again, I haven't), though it can be bad or extraneous depending on the context (how, where, when and why you say it). Saying just that you are better than someone at something isn't evil (or 'mean') in itself: basically there is always someone out there that is better than someone else (or better than you), it is no surprise and shouldn't be viewed as an insult. Even official world records are sometimes broken by different people that are better than the previous.
