Do they mean, Banned, as in COMPLETE...

cannot even host, cannot write on blogs... etc?

Or just forum banned?

As every so often, you fail to actually establish the context before rambling on, leaving whatever you're actually talking about rather cloudy.

I am talking about the likely ban on this key, and possibly my other one as well.

Basicly inquiring as to the potential level of the ban, and what that would entail.

Probably just a forum ban, unless you make trouble in other areas too to necessitate a ban there as well. As for your blog, chances are you wouldn't get anything more than a front-page ban, so your blog won't be displayed publicly.
But then again, I'm not a moderator.
As for preventing hosting games, there's no such kind of ban in place and it'd probably be difficult to even do that to someone other than the game's programmer editing the game's code to control hosting.

Thanks.

I hear they can also PAGER ban.
I am not even sure if you can make new hub entries when banned. meaning none of your games would be able to be seen on the BYOND hub. Also, they can site ban you. Meaning, you can't even go to a single part of the website.
There are a few different kinds of bans avaliable to the moderation team here at BYOND. The most common (and most likely the kind you'd end up with) is a forum ban, which in reality is being banned from the guild Dream Makers. That means you can't make new posts or comment on blog posts in this guild, you also can't submit articles or resources to it.

The next kind of ban is a hub ban (also known as a 'BYOND ban') this is really only employed by the higher-ups. It removes your ability to access the hub, that means you won't be able to publically host things, use the pager, or make use of hub entries. This ban doesn't actually limit your ability to use the system any but you'll be forced to use another medium to advertise your games. (I also believe you can only join games with client/authenticate set to 0 since you'll lose the ability to validate your login with the hub).

When you get banned from a guild, there is virtually no way to post from either your key, or your computer. Maybe even your IP range; I'm not sure, I haven't tested it out in the guilds I'm banned from.

I see.
