HOW ABOUT THEM PERFECT DODECAHEDRONS? MIRITE? THREE DIMENSIONS FOR THE WIN! RITE? I actually laughed very hard. |
Heard some songs off of their new album, I suppose?
How are they live? I doubt they can top Green Day or Staind performances. |
"I doubt they can top Green Day or Staind performances."
This is perhaps the most absurd statement I've ever read. Tool is hands down one of the best live bands out there today. I saw Staind and fell asleep while Aaron Lewis was playing (granted, this was many years ago before I really got into music and before I liked the acoustic guitar) and Green Day are simple pop-punk. The only band I've ever seen that tops Tool's live performance was In Flames. They definitely were better than Tool, and Opeth was pretty close to, if not equal to, Tool. APC is pretty cool, too, yeah :) |
Nah, he didn't. It was in Calgary so he was wearing pretty tight jeans, a big belt buckle, and a cowboy hat.
One of my favourite parts of the concert went as such... Maynard: "You know, we really love Canada." Crowd cheers. Maynard: "I think we're going to be moving up here next year." Crowd cheers. Maynard: "We really need your oil. See you in Edmonton." Crowd cheers? Oh god. Even the things he says in casual crowd-chat are so multilayered, it is wild. |
