DirectX Failure!

Rushnut

Recently I reformatted my computer, afterwards DirectX refuses to work. Well, half and half, everything works aside from DirectDraw and the suchlike.
This means BYOND games are quite ugly, and Many other online games don't even work for me!

I have Windows Pro Service Pack 3, I have Direct X 10, but I've tryed 8 and 9 and neither work any better. It's not the simple matter of pressing the enable buttons, The buttons are just greyed out! Please help Sadfaec :C

Flame Sage	If your using SP3, then I assume your using XP? DirectX 10 is not available for XP, there's a hack out, but it completely screw's up your system in the process.

Ripiz	You can't change DirectX when you want to lol... Try updating DirectX, Windows and your Graphics Card drivers. Also check if you don't have any applications running in memory which might lockup DirectX accessibility.
