Well,
My host is becoming irritated with hosting from his comp,
so i was looking in to Shell Servers, What are they? how do they work?
Any links for Good Server hosters or info on what they are. would be Awesome, thanks.

So, Are they worth having? Because my host uses his computer for his own, So he plays games and what not.
And Is there a really good one out there? price is not much a concern. | |

They let you choose what operating system you want to use, dynamically scale your computing power to save money, and have full root access over your machines, which allows you to install any and all software you want without having to get permission first. Nadrew and others have set up BYOND servers with them before, so you might be able to find some good information via a forum search. | |
Do you want good, or do you want cheap?
Most servers in the price range of BYONDers aren't really worth having.
They usually run Linux (which is just a pain to work with), they're often shared with other users, they usually have poor internet speeds, and have very limited storage and/or bandwidth.
As for what they are:
Shell servers are basically just a remote computer (or even a local one) that isn't used for anything but hosting.
You usually don't access it directly, but instead through some sort of remote log-in program.
And once logged in you just upload/setup/host whatever it is and then log out.
