Easying, if that non-word makes much sense, EZ being slang for easy.

You make it sounds like you're going to make a revolutionary AFK checker so that your players have to actually punch your pbags.

Macroing.

I'm making a game like that? Only progression in game can through active cooperation with other players.

Don't be discriminating against robots. They should be allowed to play games, too.

Then make a game in which macroing isn't possible? I know it's a hard idea, but yeah.

My team's next game us only playable with macros and clicks. No verbs at all! I have a file on my desktop with notes to myself, commands that I must adhere to. The very first line in the file, and the one which inspired the rest, is "Never use verbs again". |

I think that we should get together and create a checklist on what makes a game, I dunno BYOND "Top Shelf Worthy" , basically an outline for developers on how to make their games feel more professional, presentable, commercial , etc Something to up the standards of BYOND and possibly have a BYOND "Top Shelf" stamp of approval going on? |

I only use verbs for quick things like getting an MD5 hash or finding the ASCII value of a character. |

Anyways, nearly all games on BYOND can be EZed in one or other way |

If we don't let robots play our games, they wont let us play their games once they start making them. Don't be jerks guys, robots are people too.

So, you mean you never declare verbs, never use a verbs list, and waste your time needlessly parsing every single command manually in client/Command() instead of letting it be automatically parsed and routed into a verb? ;) Rather, I think what you and all the others mean is that you still use verbs, but just don't use info controls as the primary way to access them, and have the player activate actions, including verbs, through other methods, such as clicks, macros and buttons. (Now, what does any of this have to do with the topic ["EZ macroing"]? Nothing at all, but hey, I'm not the one that brought this up. =P) |

Hm... Possible. GOA has that option for like a year, people kept EZing, it has no verbs either.
It's VERY hard to fully stop EZing, in Naruto games some people make that you need to press arrows to Meditate, I EZed that. In Bleach games press arrows when Concentrating Rei, EZed that too. On Dragonball bag punc then rest - EZed too. None of them had verbs |
