I'm still awake after a grueling 72 hours. How I'm managing to be half-coherent in my feature request with Lummox I have no idea. I barely managed to get the last one typed without any grammatical error.
Being professional about things when you are DAMN tired.. well it just sucks. :)
So, what should I do to help me sleep *grumble grumble*.

mmm, classic BYOND *drools*

It's kind of like drunk texting. Just don't do it. Working 3rd shift I know what it's like, sometimes I sat up 2 or 3 days before I finally get to sleep.
I use drugs. |

And I agree, ever since they started with this whole BYOND 4.0 thing and trying to enhance the community, BYOND hasn't been exactly BYOND.

What exactly do you mean by "BYOND has not been exactly BYOND". I essentially see it as the same. The only thing that I believe has made the community somewhat worse was the introduction of BYOND memberships. It allowed users an easier way to insult and troll each other, but at the same time, it is supporting Lummox JR. |

Agreed, thread closed.

I sure do miss BYOND back before the guilds when it had that simple, but sexy Unpublished Games section for all the games that were under development or just plain not worthy of a channel.
Yummm... How I loved the smexy orange, peach, white, and blue colors and the simple, yet easy to navigate layout. For those of you who don't remember what I'm talking about, refer here: http://web.archive.org/web/20050131010709/http://byond.com/
What I wouldn't give to see the classic back in action(with a few of the new sites features tacked on maybe)... But even classic BYOND before they removed the pager from dream seeker was nice.
Back when a game wasn't based on how good-looking its interface was, but how well-planned the actual game itself was.
I miss old BYOND classics like the old versions of Seika and Proelium. Nothing better than a good 10 players on each team in Proelium. It was quite the blast.
I think people are forgetting the roots of gaming. Choosing things such as glamor over the used-to-be essential playability.
The BYOND I once knew is gone. Everything that I remember is no more, and I am stricken with grief in this fact alone.
