I added an exception to my firewall (and after more failures subsequently completely disabled the firewall) and i also set up port forwarding and i still get the same error "BYOND hub reports port ---- cannot be reached by players"
I've looked through the forum and I realize that a lot of people have the same problem, and the solutions always involved preventing the firewall from blocking the port and also setting up port forwarding. I've done both and still get the same error. Any other things i can do?

I'm having this same problem, I was told you cannot host if your connect to the internet wireless, which I am. Are you?

Solution: Foward your ports: http://www.simpleportforwarding.com/
I also have wireless internet and I can host fine. To have your game appear on the hub: Go to the My Account Tab on the upper-left corner of the page. Click on Manage Account. In the Account row above, click on "hub" next to "settings" Under "Your Games", click on "Add A new Game" Fill in the info as suit, and under "Download URL" read the instructions that are above it. Your game should be ready to host. **Note: If the game is already on the HUB then simply download the game and start hosting it right away. |
