Did anyone else get a pager message similar to this one?

I usually just block idiots who do stuff like that.
I go to game and spam s*** out of it (autoclicker with 5 multikeys ftw).

Don't do that, ever. It's bad behavior anywhere on the Internet, and in many communities (including this one) it can get you in a lot of hot water. In fact, consider this your only warning.

Spamming a game because somebody sent you an unwelcome link is not only childish, but potentially playing right into their hands. If they were actually looking to grief that game, they could hardly do worse than ticking off a bunch of people who are likely to spam it for them. If they know you tend to fly off the handle and make irrational choices like spamming, they can also easily set up a situation where you get yourself into trouble with the moderators.

Think through your actions.

Host usually isn't around to do that, and mostly it's yet another Naruto game, where I can call myself like other player/GM/NPC and they'll ban someone/something else instead of me.

I don't do that right away, so no worries.

It's obvious I won't spam a game which I play/would like to play, usually it's just some rip game, so it doesn't matter if I get banned from it or not.

I'm pretty sure he meant BYOND's moderators- the ones that view massively spamming people as detrimental to the servers and would rather cut the source of the spam (i.e. you) than let the two parties involved (spammer (you) and spamee (them)) deal with it.

But you still do it. Not appropriate. Don't do it.

I wasn't referring to getting banned from the game. Hence the point of warning you. While it's not common for us to take action on something that happens within the confines of a game, someone who's in the habit of spamming games is an easy and frankly enjoyable target for moderator action. Spamming hurts the community, and it is not tolerated.

I knew BYOND community is doomed, but now I see BYOND staff isn't... any good too. I could find countless posts of you and other moderators stating they won't do anything about any kind of abuse in games, as creator of game can take care of that by banning people. And now you claim you'll ban me for spam, which happens everyday. Yet another proof you do whatever you want ignoring the rules and your own words.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but massive spam can in fact crash a BYOND server. Here is when it becomes a BYOND Moderator problem, as you're intentionally crashing servers, which makes you detrimental to the BYOND community as a whole, not just the game community.

Well isn't it strange if server crashes from simple message spam?
I saw many people complaining about some annoying person changing IP so he could avoid ban and continue harassing, however BYOND Moderators done nothing but told to ban computer_id.

I'm also going to go out on a limb and say it's very difficult to prove that someone is actually spamming a game. As you know, screen shots can be edited, logs can be faked etc.

But not very often does someone flat out admit that they do such a thing. Especially in a public forum, where the majority of the BYOND Moderators... well... moderate stuff.

And anyway you look at it. You are in the wrong. Spamming games is bad, crashing servers is worse, admitting to doing one or the other in a public forum, not a crash hot idea.

Hmm, interesting
Didn't know that. So then what suggestions do you have if one were to try and prove spamming (Other than getting them to post on a public forum themselves. xD), perhaps a small video?

ouch..*Burn Notice!* (I just wanted to say that. xD)
