That song popped into my head as soon as I turned on the TV.

USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF, no. I've been hearing stupid college kids come in and out of the library in huge groups, carrying an American flag, and yelling that all night. It's finals week and I'm working alone when there should have been several other people here helping. This is only annoying. |

Fizz, don't be such a prude. Take a break from studying, have a brew, and celebrate a bit with your fellow Americans.

I'm not studying. I'm the one keeping the ones who study in line, by keeping them from being loud bastards. I work in the library.

While I'm absolutely happy America finally got revenge for 9/11 I find it saddening that we live in a world where Men/Women/Children celebrate in the death of a person.
Ironically I suppose this means we're one step closer to a better world. Gratz America. |

Im sorry but revenge leads to more deaths, its an un-ending cycle.Ive been hearing about this all day,a murder/death/killing cant be justified no matter who the victim is.I was born in the US so no im not trying be anti-American just saying.I hope for Americans sake that it wasn't an American the killed him last thing we want is a retaliation from the Muslims(im sorry if my facts are wrong i don't keep track of this stuff, the world is a said place last thing i wanna do is read about what happens on it). |

It was a team of American Navy Seals that breached the compound and killed Bin Laden. Still, I think claims of "extra" retaliation are a bunch of hot air. I have a hard time believing they aren't doing everything they can already. (the terrorist organizations, not all Muslim or middle-eastern peoples) That said, I doubt Bin Laden was a key part of the terrorist world anymore, with all the heat he had on him. But I guess we'll see. I think it's cool they actually built a replica of the compound to practice in. |

Don't confuse retribution for revenge; your actions always have consequences.

Retaliation from Al-Qaeda or any other Terrorist Organization affected would be the proper ...term?
:/ I am a Muslim yet I'm nothing like Osama bin Laden, sure you may have known that, but it's better to do the least bit of research while you have access to the Internet rather than just blurt out something your unsure of. |

Kyle_ZX wrote: You misinterpreted my reply. I understand that revenge is something the American's wanted, it was a goal that has logical reasoning. Osama killed many Americans, they killed Osama. So I was trying to say gratz for achieving what they wanted but I still find men/women/children celebrating a mans death to be quite disturbing in an ironic sense. |
Another American cover up. They killed him long ago. People were getting scared so they made this story up =)

There was no story, it was a true fact that was spread around the globe by twitter and face book. it even was known world wide before barac obama managed to tell the speach about hes death. Even sources from the pentagon did tell reporters about this before barac's speach, being annonymus.
If you dont beleve this, google it. |

Murrawhip wrote: This is actually not the case. Americans wanted to kill Osama because of what happened. That is revenge. America, the country wanted to capture and interrogate him in order to learn from him and stop future attacks, and/or at least shut down other major terrorist operations. Him being dead right now doesn't help anyone. Sure he isn't a threat anymore, but there was so much we could have learned from him. Not only that, but he could have been processed as a world criminal and been given a proper and appropriate legal punishment based on the law for his horrible crimes against us. He got off easy. He probably died quickly and to his dying moment he was probably still passing on information for other terrorist to complete his work. So there is no logical reasoning behind killing him. People shouldn't celebrate this moment. We can all breath a little easier sure, but we shouldn't be celebrating. |

That and it's rather uncivilised and macabre to celebrate the man's death. I thought they were meant to be defending western values.

O _ O I totally agree. The thought of a bullet passing through anyone's skull make's me cringe. Even if I dislike the person. |
