The 4 month thing is just because Frieza has never trained a day in his life. He was a born natural and very powerful without ever trying. So now, to beat Goku, he is going to train to try to unlock his potential.

Because we saw God Bills in the trailer also, I think we def going to get a super strong Frieza or else Bills woudnt bother showing up.
