Looking for a Tutorial on lists

My code is begining to look a little ugly and I know I can clean it up by using lists. I saw a tutorial on using lists to simplify code on this site somewhere. I spend 30 minutes looking for it but found nothing. Can someone point me in the right direction on a good article on using lists.
