When I Try To Make a HUD On The Top Left Of Screen , Half Of The Top Map Turns Black for some reason, Im using RaeKwons Hud Code From his post

when it has screen_loc = "1,2"

make sure your not setting it out to far, for instance
screen_loc = "20,10
that will make the screen expand and will make it black, make sure you keep it with a "6,6" view, set it:
screen_loc = "13,13"
or it's "15,15" no time to check sorry, gtg! hope that helps, any more questions just feel free to post.
