um i dont completely understand the usage of the word [proc or what it means so im going to try and ask this question without it ok,alight here it is as best as i can put it!
my delima: i need the code to make a hero attack a monster or another npc

example: jhon(the sorcerer) attacks bob(the builder,he can fix it!) with his cane and then goes and kills the kobold sentry

My suggestion before you start worrying about coding heroes and monsters is to learn what proc means. There are some excellent tutorials, a guide, demos, a reference section, and example code all over this site.

If you don't understand a little of the basics, you have no hope of achieving your goals as a game maker.

Skysaw beat me to it. =P There is no such thing as the attack code. Without common knowledge of procs, your game will be nothing but a garbled untranslatable mess, most likely to fail.

If you haven't already, proceed to the DM.Tutorials section and read the ZBT beginner's documentations. Chances are since your key creation of just a few days ago, you have not read through them in full. The Byond FAQ is also a great source of information for beginners.
