I've got no clue how to even go about it. I've seen someones coding for it but had no clue what they were talking about. can someone explain how to make one or at least show me some coding for one so i can look over it?

Well there are two ways of making a lifebar. 1 way is in the statpanel and the other is in the HUD. Take a look at spuzzum's meter snippet on how to make a meter in the statpanel. For the one in the HUD take a look at rcet's healthbar demo. I think the coding is commented so you probably won't have trouble understanding it
