Bleh, Im trying to make a Text Mud, since they're cool and all, but I cant figure out how to place mobs with it... I know, I'm an idiot, tell me if ya can (I searched the tuturial, demos and faqs, but its all based for graphic games...)

If you want my advice, build a few test games with graphics first. In the process, you'll start to comprehend a little better how things work, then it's usually easier to build things in text.
