better than using tunngle or hamchi to play with your friends who is already near you
what about a LAN support ? just think about it..

also some engines turns lan into a server any one can join it without port forwarding.

You can host in a LAN environment without port forwarding, you just need to use the servers LAN IP to connect to instead of your WAN IP..
