how do i make it where if im facing right that an image apears and goes in a straight line from the player and it shows and image and does 10 damage if it hits a dude and for left same thing but with a dif image.

The different images are done by using a directional icon. As for the rest of the code, look for the WarDemo demo, by some person, or something.
