Today we finished the Testing of the Tarus Manor dungeon. Yesterday was a single man run and today we did party runs through the dungeon.
It worked out pretty well. Especially the Racial dungeon control system.
And we leave you with a picture from yesterday:
*The soul of a dead player retrieves his corpse from the clutch of a deadly specter.* - Note that the corpse Icon is a place holder.

WoW-ish.
|
Yeah, we used Worldweaver's Death_Engine for the death system. Which was modeled off of WoW.
http://developer.byond.com/hub/Worldweaver/Death_Engine This included a few modifications such at switching the Area to Global HUD objects. Worldweaver plans to update the demo with the improvements soon. All the dungeon ressurections are in one graveyard for Tarus Manor. Larger dungeons may have us placing mutiple graveyards. |
Look's good, I look forward to it being open, is there going to be open-testing?

Look's good, I look forward to it being open, is there going to be open-testing? Haven't really discussed it. I'm assuming an open Beta but a closed Alpha. |
