In a way garthor's right. You shouldn't just copy and paste. If you actually looked at the code I think you would have seen del(world) and realized that it would delete your game. But I guess it might be wrong to tell newbies to do stuff like that?

Isn't there a way to call functions outside of dreamseeker?

newbie: Garthor helped me and I compiled and played my game and my computer deleted all my files and then popped up a big flashy screen that said "copy and paste: dont do it" Whats the code to stop this!!!

Perhaps he didn't copy and paste. He obviously has trouble understanding the basic knowledge of DM, because he is new. He had no idea what it meant. You can't really blame him.

Well duh! 'Might be wrong' ??? This is like telling a person who is completely new to computers that opening up an MSDOS window and typing 'DEL *.*' (and don't forget to say 'yes' to the following question) will gain access to the internet. It's wrong, and it's stupid to take advantage of the person's lack of knowledge.

And we certainly can do with less of it here... I certainly won't put up with that nonsense on any game or program that I host...
