Shortening Lines

I recall seeing in some demo or library a command that lets you continue your coding on another line, I;ve tried looking for it but I can find it. If you don't understand what i mean I'm looking for something like this:

mob
proc
SomeProc()
here comes reallllllly long coding...very long i want to continue on another line....what do I put?

just use backslashes at the very end of each line to \
continue to the next one, like this: \
This works just about anywhere, not just in text."

So if you want a backslash in your writing, do you have to put \\? :-)
