Man i played that game and it was amazing how well it appeared to be coded. How did they even do that? no really, how did they do that? i don't want to make a dragon warrior game, but are there demos about that or something? it was amazing.

I suspect a lot of it comes from experience, since that's how the people who make those demos and tutorials for how to do things like that (if there are any) learned to make them in the first place.
