I've been trying to do something like this...

I want to use an on-screen inventory sytem, but there is no demos out there on how to create this. Can anyone help?

There are some demos..Just click on the Demos or search for On Screen Inventory

I don't need one anymore. One was created :-D.
(oh, and PS: there is no demo of this, perhaps there should be one.)
