1) Can Byond host your server for the game you make? If so, then how much it costs?

2) When you make a game, and package them, can people steal my icons, music, and source code?

3) How do I make it so that if I'm not running my server, people can still host their own server but they can't steal or rip my source code, music, and icons?
1. No.

2. Unlikely(although there's always taking a picture of the whole screen, and creating a new icon file), unlikely(although they can always start up sound recorder), very unlikely(pretty much only Dan and Tom could do that)

3. Same as 2(nothing special you can do).

It's possible to steal icons and music from RSC files, but difficult unless you know how.

Source code is impossible to steal from the DMB file. Well, okay, it is slightly possible; but you'd have to decompile it, which is infamously difficult; so much so that it's not worth anyone's while. It'd be quicker and easier for them to reprogram the game from scratch.

So, in short: No. Don't worry about it.

It's pretty much impossible to decompile it without an indepth knowledge of how they are compiled, which only Dan and Tom have.

You can gather Sound files from the rsc file as well.

Didn't dantom try to decompile something for a trusted person, but what came out was worse than the zeta code?

Slightly better than the Zeta code. The decompiled code, although horrendously ugly, worked.(I believe, I could be mistaken.)

If it's better than Zeta, you'd still have at least something to work with, or at least use as a reference.
