Ok, I'm wondering if I can let familiars in a text based rpg send scrolls with usr written message to another player..is this possible? If so, would the other player have to be logged on at the time or is there a way to save the NPC creature, its target and sender so that the message can be delivered later and then return to its master? Just a thought I'm having, haven't even begun to think of making the source code for this LOL but thought someone might say that it was impossible and then I could save my brain for making the 10000 rooms LOL Thanks in advance.

yeah its possible. Look up Sapphire Mail and go from there. You really wouldnt have to use that interface or you could completely rewrite it. But it has all the funtionality for ingame mailing. All youd have to do is set up msgs and stuff says this or that flies off bearin the msg to soandso. They dont have to actually exist for it to happen the mail system could take care of the rest just set it up to fit into your game thats what Im doin.
