overlays problem is screwed when reboot or shut down

while using a skill. the skill is on but if the server shuts down or reboots, the character's same skill overlays is on and it acts like its using the skill. how can i fix this problem or is there a library i can download that can add/remove overlays?

You could have it whenever they log in, the overlays are all removed or something..

At least thats what I do and it works just fine.

but when the mob logs in, it then load the characters if you choose to load it. and the loaded files contains the objs overlays, underlays, etc.. so.. do i add it in the load proc?

Remove the overlays and underlays BEFORE you save. Then re-add them after you load.
