Point of semantics: If you want to start learning DM, then you probably only know some basics and nothing at all of advanced techniques. Advanced programming is, well, advanced, and if you're still in a position to say you're starting out, then you haven't gone past the basics at all.

I don't mean that to come off in a demeaning way or anything. Basically I'm just saying that if you're not in a position where you can work through most problems by reading the reference or posting for help on specific code (or checking out tutorials and demos written by non-quacks), the basics haven't really been covered and "advanced" hasn't been touched. And this is important to point out because the clearer you can be about what you need, the better help you'll get.

Honestly I'm puzzled by this request. You seem to be implying that you want help learning more or less from scratch, for which I can think of no better teacher than the Blue Book--which you can read in its entirety via the DM Guide link to the left of this screen. There are also tutorials you can learn from. What exactly is left for a "teacher" to do that these couldn't? It can't be just for answering questions, because we on the forums can answer your questions already.
