How exactly would you go about making....

How would you make a text thing on screen for example showing my name or saying something to the world for others to see using objs?

Well.. you can switch to text-mode and use 1 sqare for ech leter, but that mite be to much (it mite not fit)... Maybe beter for the sqare to flash and wen you click on it show up on Browser-Window

Or, you could use one of the libraries to display text on the map. Lummox JR's DMIFonts might work for your situation.
