Sorry, it's been awhile since I've used BYOND and I really want to get back into it... I know a BYOND prog can accept incoming telnet connections (like a telnet server), but can it create an outgoing telnet connection (connect to a non-BYOND telnet server) and respond to messages sent by the other server? Basically I want to created an automated bot that will log into several non-BYOND MUDs, gather info on the top users (like thier exp, class, rank, etc) make a few calculations on it (like exp/hr) then create a webpage with said info. It would all be pretty easy, if BYOND can make the outgoing connection. Thanks for your time.
BYOND can't do Telnet, no.

You know what he means. "BYOND can't do Telnet" means that it has minimal features and commands. You can basically enter a game and talk.
