Some of you may of helped me out with my sports draft system about a day ago. I just want to know which would be the best way to distribute draft picks? (3 rounds, (# of teams) picks).

A) Distribute draft picks manually and know who has what picks?
  • problem: Sometimes I may not be logged on to distribute picks at the appropriate time.

    B) Use a proc to distribute the picks, and delete them with a proc when desired.
  • problem: Not knowing who has the picks w/o a list, a major bug exploitation: People can log off after getting draft picks and save them for a later draft, this taking somebody else's picks and the innocent loses his/her draft pick.

    C) a suggestion from you. =)
I think it should be a random pick .
and
lets say a person leaves durring middle. make a work around NPC which will contunue where the other person left off. and if some1 wants to take place of the NPC they can select too. that way people don't have to wait for others to join just to play.

Well that would be kind of like a lottery draft. A football draft (which im developing) distributes picks determined by the win-lose record of the teams.

Also the players create and manage the teams.

Sorry I should of mentioned that.

I knew I forgot something >.<
