So this is my first time using linux OS , I didnt have the money to get Win7 so instead I went the free way. However I've tried to install byond and of course it didnt work. I download the zip from the internet, then I extract that .. right click the byond folder and run it in terminal and use the make here command. then it tells me to write out the URL for the byondsetup. this is where it gets messed up , it tells me there is no file in the bin/ folder which is lie because I see the folder.
Do you want to play or make games?

If so, you're going to want to use Wine. I've run BYOND through Wine on Linux Mint with wonderful results. A quick Google search will give you all the information you need on using Wine. Regarding BYOND on Wine, I followed this guy's advice and it worked fine.
Thanks if I need help with anything else I'll post on here again
