Unfortunately, there's absolutely no useful tutorial on how to actually develop client-side things on the webclient. I basically had to learn everything on my own (with the documentation as reference on what to do, not HOW to do it), which was only possible because I had a few years of prior experience with web development.

I might write up a quick startup tutorial on the webclient, including how to write a basic custom "byondclass" that displays chat from the server and whatnot. It all depends if people are interested.

I have experience in web development. Javascript less so, more so working with MySQL and PHP. I'm still capable of using javascript I was just wanting a basic tutorial to see how it's done. Then again I think there is a post Lummox made that may explain all of that. I need to go find it. I haven't even looked into it yet. That part is on me. :P

Regardless I am totally interested in a basic tutorial if you're further inclined to write one. I generally like reading over stuff in the tutorials and snippets section regardless of if I need it or not. Makes for a good read. :)

Oh, well that sounds extremely easy... -facepalm-

And lose out on all the wonderful features and bug fixes since then? No thanks. Plenty of other solutions for this. =/

So you're pretty much exploiting when it is simple to get access to the current exe system. K.
