Hosting Problem

In my game im currently making, I can't seem to host. I don't have a firewall turned on, and I have a cable connection. I also can't host on anyother games. I want to know the cause of this, and maybe is it the fact that I have a router. THank you.

If you have a router, it is the problem.
You need to forward the port you're using to host byond games to your LAN ip address.

See your router's manual on Port Forwarding. A forum search will also yield _several_ results.

I understand, but the problem is, I don't have access to the router, or the computer the router is near. I their still a way to fix my problem? (the router is in my uncle's room, which is always locked)
