I've started to realize that I can sense that a noise is going to occour before I even hear it, even with my eyes closed. I know I don't have magic powers (yet), so I asked around. Turns out, other people are the same way.

This leads me to a conclusion!! When the brain intercepts a sound, the part that tells you a sound is being intercepted activates a split moment before your mind interprets it!

This probably means absolutely nothing, but it's pretty nifty....ish.
