About Characters perspective

I am wondering if i can make my game so that i can see and control my character through my characters eyes like in duke nukem type of game is this actually possible if so would this be able to be done or would this need to be changed with the login system?

That would require a 3D engine, currently there is one available, but it's not practical.
It's just a demo about walking around, and it's very "edgey" and low quality (not the code, but the way it generates)
So.. If you were to make a full fledged game, you would probally be wasting your time.
