Open Dream Maker. Make an envirornment. Ctrl+N. Select Icon file. Give It a Name. Click on the icon file. Click the paintbrush. Draw.

By good you probably mean you want it to look like the GBA images, or RPG maker gfx (snes), right?. those people who drew those went to college for 2d graphics design, so uhmm yeah its gonna look better ( not to be mean or anything), but just because it looks better doesnt mean yours isnt better, i prefer playing a game w/ original (or the text based) icons than rpgmaker or ripped gba graphics :o) i hoped i helped somewhat

This is why specific questions matter. What you really wanted to ask was how to make graphics look good, not how to make them. The answer to that is scattered throughout the forum. Look up "pixel art". I believe there was also a BWS report on BYONDscape with links at one point.

They went to college for 2D Graphics Design? Sad! Half the kids on the net are better than the people who do this for a living.
