When I host with OSX's DreamDaemon, it won't appear on the HUB without me logging in on a separate PC and leaving my key in there.

So I host in DreamSeeker, which I prefer.

I cannot set the port to host on! I have to keep going and manually forwarding a new port each time... ARGGG!!!

It's on ultra-safe mode! Every time someone tries to log in prompts me to let them access their save file and won't let them log in until I saw yes!!! AHH!!!

On top of that, I can't get it to appear on the HUB! (No HUB entry for it, just i unpublished games)

Please someone help, I am about to go insane trying to work with BYOND on OSX.

The game will only appear on the HUB if there's a pager connected to it.

You can set the port as one of the arguments when you run the dmb. 'DreamDaemon [dmb].dmb [port]'.

Ontop of port as an argument, you can also set it to trusted by sticking '-trusted' at the end of that.

No, for DreamSeeker I mean :)

You can use .host public to host with DreamSeeker, but you can't set ports and safety levels :(

world.OpenPort(), world.startup()

Hmm? In the DM of the hosted file? Thanks, I'll have to give this a go...

Er... why don't you just start up DreamDaemon with the settings you want, and then log into that game in DreamSeeker? It's really not that hard to do. =)

Yeah, that's what I'm doing now ;) Heh.

The pager seems to keep fading online and offline, thus making the key on the HUB appear and disappear over and again...

Any idea what might cause this?

Maybe part of my network?
