heads up toolbar?

I am making a game, and i want a tool bar kind of like deseert defendsers and castle have on the side. could anyone help me out on where to get a reference for this or give me some codes personaly?

It's also a normal Heads Up Display (HUD) with clicking action. Look up Click(), DblClick(), MouseDrag() and MouseDrop()
