It was interesting, but the sound quality wasn't great, and scenes didn't change very smoothly. I actually saw satin's arm after the scene changed. Sometimes you could hear breathing into the mic, which is a major no-no of flash, at least in my book.
Mandatory subtitles are really annoying. If I wanted subtitles, I should have to turn them on. On top of that, you start saying something else than what they are saying and don't give nearly enough time to keep up. Artistically, it was fine. The unique style, although probably easy to draw, gives a nice sense that it is your cartoon, not someone else's. Comedicly, I didn't think much of it. It didn't make me laugh much, but had the potential. Perhaps it was me paying attention to the movie and not the dialog, I am not sure. I also just got out of the car after a 4 hour drive, so that doesn't help. Overall, what really got me was the sound. Something about it was... unsettling to me. Although the voice acting was good, the sound quality really made video as a whole suffer. | |

I feel that that was not negative feedback. I think I was giving an honest review so that you could improve on the next one. "Was funny" "I liked it" and the others aren't helping you get better. I think the best thing you can do to help someone is nicely point out their flaws. I think I did that, or at least I pointed out flaws without being offencive, which is the first sign of hate mail.

I didn't say yours was negative, I was saying that I am waiting for some negative feedback... so far you're the closest thing.
I know I can improve on my animation and sound quality, but it's really hard to record voices with a 6 month old in the background... lol, so that's probably the best quality I'll get. | |
Heh, my friend has a 7 month old, getting into teamspeak with him can be painful. Anywho, it wasn't just the voices. The occasional sound effect was a little off too. There was a part where a guy got hit and the thud as a little weak. Although hitting someone normally makes next to no sound, we like to hear one anyways. For flash artists sound seems to be the hardest part to master. This is why it is such a big factor to me. Sound is normally the difference between some guy who can animate and a professional who makes his living off of flash works (Homestarrunner.com for example). Although your art seems to be every bit as good as his, your sound is lacking in comparison.
