anyone know if you can import the whole world file from RPG maker XP into DM if not then what is a good way to get the images into DM
You might want to don asbestos overalls. And an asbestos raincoat. And then hide in an asbestos box.

He wants you to die. I don't understand why he posted that though. Pretty off topic, irrevelent, and rude.

No, he's going to get flamed. Massively. I suggest he put on flame-retardant clothing.
Why do people think there is like a program or something to convert one language or src or something into another language? I may be wrong but I am certain there isn't one for DM.

He could always wrap a Fire-Blanket over himself. (Hurray for fire Extinguishers!)

But yea, I don't think you could convert RPGMXP into DM, its just unheard of! D:

im amazed at how much help i dont get..i understand that you cant just put your map from rpg maker into the game i get that..but i dont understand how to get what icons i need from the rpg maker into the game so that i have good mapping..
In response to Tiptopfunnyman
Well, you can always make one yourself. To use the icons, you'll have to find the spritesheets and put 'em in DreamMaker.

Starting with you, I guess.
There is no program to do it currently, and doing it manually would require a lot of custom systems for Byond. i.e. Having different floors on the same map, directional blocking, and turn based combat, etc. So it can be done, but it would require a lot of other work to be done first.

I'll tell you how and even tell you which parts require manual labor. The easiest way to do it would be:

1) *Requires Manual Labor* While looking through the icons while in RPG Maker hit that nifty little button that says "Export" and save it somewhere.

2a) *Requires Manual Labor* Open that file with any photo editing program and copy and paste...nifty functions as well...32x32 sqaures of the file in to the icon files of Dream Maker. Viaola!

OR

2b) *Requires Manual Labor* Open Dream Seeker and create a new icon file. Go up to your menu bar and click Graphic, Import. Then search for your file you exported and open it. When the little pop up message comes up because the image is too big click yes. Viaola!

3) Wait there is no number three becaue it only takes one freaking minute to complete the process.

Now as long as you still have the creativity to make a map, you can now make it in Dream Maker.

P.S. Notice that the quickest way required only a little manual labor in every step needed and no outside program which you have to come to a forum and wait hours for a helpful response and then take an hour to find a download source for and who know how long to actually download it.

Welcome to BYOND.

The hard part would be interpretting RPG Maker's map files. I don't know too much about RPG Maker, but I know the map files for BYOND are written in text mode and aren't too complicated really.
