read: i want to make my character really powerful so i don't have to do any work, then beat the crap out of all the other players

It kinda depends on how the game is programmed. Maybe you should contact the owner of the game you're trying to mess with and ask him/her? They'd be happy to help. :)

ITS MY SERVER... I DONT WANT TO MESS WITH ANY SERVER... I JUST WANT TO EDIT MY CHAR IN MY SERVER! THAT'S ALL!

What's with the caps? Anyways cheating isn't fun. It ruins it for all the other players.
But if you still want to do it, you'd have to either make a savefile editer yourself or get one from someone, which not many people able to make one would do for you here on BYOND. -Exophus |
they are on the forums. and if you copy paste all the code for savefiles in the reference you have a savefile editor. but a bad one

Heck, I use my savefile editor on my own games. I can ban myself if I want, but I don't much see the point. I find it extremely useful. I also used it to discover that my map saving routines in my editor were doing some things they shouldn't have been...

Just something I whipped up in my spare time. But I stopped whilst I was coding the better display (not the textbox you see, but an actual listing with directories etc.) after I realised that you can't perform a check if the current buffer is an object and perform different actions accordingly. |
[file2text(txtfile)] Taken directly from the reference, you can go from there. |
