using and making maps are pretty easy.
to make a new map open up a Dream Maker program. Click "New Environment" on the menu then go to new environment. Name your project.

then go to "New" Choose Map file for the type of file you want. Name your Map in the box below then click okay.
To populate that map, you need icons, which you can make by choosing Icon on the drop down menu and naming your icon. To edit your icon double click then go to the palette button.

You can import icons from the toolbar menu.
