Restricted commands

Ive seen stuff like admins for your games, and normal players cant access the commands. How do you do that? i tried but most of the help files arnt much of a help (they still do help but not really much) and i dont know how to make certain users have commands normal people dont have, thank you.

mob/admin/verb///YOUR STUFF
var/list/Admins=list("ME","SOMEONE ELSE")
mob/Login()
    if(src.key in Admins)
        src.verbs+=typesof(/mob/admin/verb/)


Or you could just use the search button

Well, more of a search input. Look at the top right.. no, not the top-most one, there's one a bit lower saying 'Forum Search' :)

You shouldn't use <code>/mob</code> to add/remove verbs in that fashion.

admin/verb //YOUR STUFF
var/list/admins=list("me","someoneelse")
mob/Login()
    .=..()
    if(ckey in admins) verbs+=typesof(/admin/verb)

Thanks for giving away the little hidden error..

People have to learn that not every code that other people supply them with on the forums is actully correct,,,

While I do agree that people have to learn to stop depending on us for free code snippets, I do not agree that the snippets people like you sent should have deliberate bugs in them. It only distracts them from a more important job: learning what they're doing.

My main concern was your usage of <code>/mob</code> like that. It only wastes RAM.

I know this very much sounds like an advertisement, but my command console library was designed to do this, and it won't take up space on statpanels (which are nasty things anyways, in my opinion).

I know youre right so i won't argue but i still like putting it little errors now and then i think youre right though i should of put an error like capM's for mob instead of a bug.
