I am making a game, a harry potter game, ragnarok hgm claims it to be a rip since icons are until we chnaged them, he claims that I can get banned for it, I gave credit. please answer.

Rag cant say anything about ripping...........cuz he rips and Miran's HP game is not a rip. Those icons are free to use and rag u kno you got some of those icons from celestial chaos' source....

You can't get banned from BYOND for making a rip. If you could, why do you think there are so many DBZ/Naruto games around?

Ragnarok HGM is lying, just like many people in his situation will do. Appearantly he's afraid that your game is going to become better than his, and therefor he threatens you with a hubban.

He claims that since he wrote the game was copyrighted on the hub, that ripping it is against the law, but it is not a rip since we changed the icons.

I made the original full harry potter game on byond, which was destroyed with my house and (in my oppinion, not most others) sucked. But Rag stole most of my icons to make it, and I played when he first made it too. It was just Celestial Chaos with my icons :P

It's gotten better since then, but since he orriginally ripped it and ripping is legal on byond unless you have it copyrighted with a company (which the byond admins can do nothing about, he'd have to sue you) you're allowed to take anything you want. And the company has to be copyrighted, he can't sue you with his Incurssion's Inc. or whatever it is.

Ok thank you for helping me out, missed your game though, yeah I noticed but I don't know why he attacks me for a his idea of a rip, since he made a charmed rip.
