There's a difference between learning and understanding what's happening, and "learning" where you go copy, paste, compile (repeat as many times as necessary).

Except, you see, there's no teaching OR learning going on. Just newbies copying crappy code from other newbies who then have that code copied by other newbies. On and on forever, like some mirrors facing each other, or something. Optical illusion and all that.

Because, regardless of your intentions, you chose to do something that is directly leading to me doing more work telling people that, no, I can't give them the code, there is no such thing as the code, and that they're going to have to change their entire concept of what programming is before they can actually get any more help. Then, some other well-meaning yet dim-witted newbie comes along, copies-and-pastes something, and the whole situation is compounded once again.

No, this ISN'T something minor. Newbies propagating bad advice is perhaps one of the WORST problems in the community. The only thing that comes close is that nobody calls them on it.
