I'm not sure why you're ping is a lot higher but you're also selecting a server that's 100 miles from you.

It's Florida. We don't have any closer servers to Tampa, FL.

That's not even the best speedtest I've gotten on campus. One client's office (I do tech support for the university) here had 400 Mbps. I went back to my office and cried when mine only got 25 Mbps. Then, I moved to an office that has a 1 Gbps line...but I only get 261, apparently.

It's okay though, when I'm at home, we have roughly the same speed, Flick.
