is there a way to make 2 interfaces and have them switch? like... one strickly map and other the browser and i wanna add cutscenes kinda, so when a cutscene occurs the interface will switch to browser and play the gif or flash file or whatever? basically i wanna know if u can swap over interface skins? or is there another way to do this?

Yes there is, I asked someone about this. However it depends how you want to access it. I'm gonna access it be clicking a button so I would have to put something like this in the command box in the button options:
target, "default", "menu=menu1"
Where the word defualt is, just type whatever you named that interface.
Target refers to usr (but according to one of the best coders on Byond, that's what the interface editer uses.
PS. Lol It's weird, some of the terms in the editor are the diff/opposite of what people are used to using in DM.
